Guys, Li-Fi stands for Light Fidelity and its speed is measured about 224 Gb per second.
     we all are know about Wi-Fi . we all are uses wi-fi for transferring our data with others with high speed. we uses it for the internet connectivity.we all are know know that wi-fi speed is almost enough for us but in some cases there are very issues with the wi-fi. we faces many problems with wifi like in some cases it tooks very long time to connect. In the UK most of the house owners have wi-fi in their houses and a lot of them facing the wifi conections and speed problems.

But what will happen if we have another way to connect to the internet & direct connection with very very high speed ? Use Li-Fi.

Li-Fi stands for Light Fidelity. It uses light to transfer data. It uses LED bulb as a router.we can use simple LED bulbs to transfer our data through Li-Fi. 

The scientists tests the Li- Fi  connection and there are news are the lifi maximum speed is 224 GB per seconds and the movies of 1.5gb were downloaded by the scientists and the results  was that Li-Fi downloaded that movies in  every single second. Now that's was amazing.


How does it works ?
Li fi uses light bulb as a wireless router.However, Wi-fi uses radio waves to transmit data, while li-fi uses visible light.

As we know that li-fi is a visible light communications system then it means that it also needs a photo detector to receive light signals and to convert them into contents like video,music,movies etc.

Guys amazing thing was that Li-Fi connectivity also used under the water with fully high speed.This is the one of it's best features .

   led light bulb acts as semiconductor source of light. it means when we fed data into a led bulb and when light falls on photo-detector. Then photo-detector converts light into electrical signal and the electrical signal converts back it into contents like songs, movies etc.

Li-Fi vs Wi-Fi which one is better:-

  1. Li-Fi is also used under water while wi-fi dosen't works under the water.
  2. Li-fi  connections doesn't cross the walls as it works only in the presence light,where wi-fi can cross the walls because it uses radio waves.  
  3.  Li-fi uses light as medium,while wi-fi uses radio waves which are very harmful.So, Li-fi is harmless.
  4. Speed of Li-Fi is 100 times more than wi-fi. maximum speed is 224gb per second.
  5.  Li-Fi is fully safe and it can't be hacked, but Wi- fi can be easily hacked.
